out of interest, my XP computer takes forever to load pages. my W7 laptop loads quicker, and keeps showing me a message saying it has "prevented cross-site scripting" which I presume is something related to the adverts.

No such messages surfing with Mozilla Firefox + AdBlock Plus extension + EasyList/EasyPrivacy filter subscriptions.
