Where are the concentration camps? Why are we not persecuting Jews and gypsies and communists? Hell, NYC is going to elect a communist mayor. But a better question is why are the liberals getting away with their rabid antisemitism? Why are stupid people marching in the streets with Queers for Palestine signs? If the right were Nazi's could any of the things the left are doing be allowed?

TDS is an illness and it will almost certainly be recognized as an actual mental condition. That's my prediction

Any new proposed illness or syndrome would need thorough examination to prove that it is a genuine condition. Furthermore, it would need to be a condition that is prevalent worldwide and not limited to the confines of the USA. It would then need to be ratified by the World Health Organisation as an established illness.
This process takes years of research and analysis.

Col, you are correct about the difficulty in getting anew illness recognized - but TDS is actually a type of unhealthy fixation and THAT type of illness is ALREADY recognized.

Usually, it is a "Messiah" fixation leading to cults - like the Charles Manson cult, or Jim Jones cyanide-in-the-kool-aid situation from Guyana or the David Koresh cult from the Waco, Texas event. Most of the time, the fixation is on a leader who MUST be followed. But the same fixation can flip, leading to a person who must NOT be followed. It's the same kind of fixation but with an inversion of the feelings. Basically, to TDS victims, Trump is the anti-Christ. His work MUST be thwarted (unlike Messiah complexes, where the work MUST be supported.)

So TDS really IS an illness, just being misidentified.

I know I'm correct, 35 years in the NHS at senior level, I know how things work. I don't need some know-it-all Yank telling me.
Pat said it would be an actual mental condition, no indication it was affiliated with any other mental condition. Anyway, it won't be accepted as I pointed out. Despite what Americans think, there is more to the world than the USA, things that happen in the USA are usually of no interest to anyone else.
