every answer you make in defense of the Fanciest Dictator wannabe, Constitution breaker as about the bad little democrats. I really don't bored are tired. You're never gonna admit any failings of your party even as the destroy the rule of law, and ruin our economy. So be annoyed, I really don't it's you people that are feed the fuelLay off the ad hominem attacks. They are boring and beginning to be annoying. YOUR race to the bottom is when you simply demean someone else who happens to think differently than you. Today I'm calling you out as a member who has endured your empty name-calling for entirely too long. You continuously demean the members who see things in a different light. But it is our right to do so. Live with it!
I think a real problem in all of this mess is Congress, which has allowed profligate spending for DECADES and has been anywhere from negligent to spineless in attacking the real problems of the budget. Trump is trying to cut off the sources of waste, fraud, and abuse. So many groups have lost self-sufficiency that now they moan, whine, or even shriek about how those cuts will doom us all if we don't study "The Vortex Effects of Butterfly Farts During Flight" because it is a crucial study related to "the butterfly effect" and without it, we are all doomed. (Side note: If any of you actually develop a grant for such a study, don't forget where you got the idea.)
Campaign promises are a fact of life and protected by the 1st amendment, but promises to bring things back to your constituents is a form of bribery, reminiscent of a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade where the float riders toss trinkets to the crowds who then go home feeling exhilarated for having caught a "Made in China" trinket sold in batches of 100 for $10. Too many people have a "what's in this for me?" attitude and that is a huge part of this nation's problem.
I keep thinking you will hit rock bottom on you delusion of how immigrant labor works, but I see there is no bottom. I have never seen anyone so miss informed be so confident. It also has an enormous number of illegal aliens draining all their resources.
America is losing to China and your people are getting richer off it.
Not to worry Thales750 everything is cyclical. Before you know it Gavin Newsom will be the President. The border will be wide open and the states will be run like California. It will seem like the meds are working again.I keep thinking you will hit rock bottom on you delusion of how immigrant labor works, but I see there is no bottom. I have never seen anyone so miss informed be so confident.
I can't believe more people don't call you out on this, they're probably just brainwashed by the same propaganda. Emigrant labor whether Legal or Illegal create economy and build wealth.
I know, we shouldn't let these economic facts gets in the way of truth, now should we.
I'm sure you know for a fact that Trump is engaging in insider trading. Where do you get this particular "fact"? Please share your source.Trump skimmed a half a billion from the financial markets by using tariffs to swing the markets, then he capitalized on it with insider trading.
Your problem is that you have NO UNDERSTANDING of the difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration. And then there are the perpetual ad hominem attacks which are boring to all of us.I keep thinking you will hit rock bottom on you delusion of how immigrant labor works,
Because they all know the difference between LEGAL immigration and Illegal immigration. This country has always welcomed legal immigrants and still does today. In fact, we are the MOST welcoming country in the entire world. It is the illegal immigrants which are bad for our country and who are not welcome at all.I can't believe more people don't call you out on this, they're probably just brainwashed by the same propaganda.
Guess that ONE child policy didn't work out all that well. Maybe they shouldn't have aborted all those female fetus'. Oh, I know, the men can carry the babiestheir birth rate will be less than half of its rate 20 years ago. See this article:

As usual Pat, when the Republicans lose, you blame the referee. There was no criticism of the BLS by Republicans until the inevitable weak economic numbers came in.Did you notice how many times during the Biden/Harris administration the numbers were changed downward? THAT was why the person got fired. They were incompetent.
Isaac, do you have any evidence that the BLS was acting in a political manner? Weak employment numbers were the obvious outcome of deporting workers. That's because there have been too many times when they put out a set of numbers, then say later "sorry, those were wrong- here they are revised". Trump felt, reasonably so I think, that there had simply been too much of that. Such a conclusion is subjective, but not at all unreasonable IMO. Trump felt that the "we made a mistake, here they are revised" technique had been used in a political manner.
Not necessarily. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/target-ceo-step-down-sales-162600244.html
..I've been saying that since the beginning. There are a half dozen ways to mitigate tariffs. Passing on the whole thing to the consumer in the form of a price increase is just one, and one that you shouldn't just assume is the only one happening.
Wrong again on this too. Texas has no state income tax, so it's about a wash. And the difference between the various states' sales tax is absolutely miniscule. I looked up Texas' and it looks about the same as mine, nothing special there
Not true. There was no criticism of the BLS by Republicans until the inevitable weak economic numbers came in.
A good point but the larger revisions during the Biden administration were part of the COVID chaos. Private companies also frequently issue revised financial information. The letter was issued after the November election because didn't seem to care before. Not true.

Two key Senate Republicans excoriated the US government statistics agency responsible for monthly employment reports, saying recent large-scale revisions to initial figures show its “continued failures” in producing crucial economic data.
Senators Bill Cassidy and Susan Collins — who are in line for key roles next year overseeing the Bureau of Labor Statistics — said the agency’s inability to produce initially reliable numbers is “unacceptable,” according to a letter the two sent to the BLS on Friday.
Erika McEntarfer made a significant statistical error and paid the price, it was the 2nd largest in BLS history.A good point but the larger revisions during the Biden administration were part of the COVID chaos. Private companies also frequently issue revised financial information. The letter was issued after the November election because didn't seem to care before.
Weak job growth is not a surprise when Trump is deporting workers.
Nope, I'd just match up the 'revisions' they would make to the current political climate and use common sense to derive that.Isaac, do you have any evidence that the BLS was acting in a political manner?
They have openly stated they have several ways of mitigating tariffs (which I think is already obvious). Price increases may be one of them, but clearly not the only one. There are a lot of points at the supply chain - the final retailer is just the last one of many.Do you seriously think that Target and other retailers won't pass tariff costs to their customers?
A revision is not an error. It is an updating of a past report based upon newly received data. This is routine in economics and finance. No evidence of an error has been presented.Erika McEntarfer made a significant statistical error and paid the price, it was the 2nd largest in BLS history.
The common sense conclusion would be that Trump plans to fire anyone who issues unfavorable economic statistics rather than admit failure of his anti-free market policies. That is better than fate of Mikhail Kurman, who Stalin executed for reporting accurate numbers.Nope, I'd just match up the 'revisions' they would make to the current political climate and use common sense to derive that.
Your focus over tariffs is incomprehensible. Companies will pass on all costs imposed by the government onto the consumer.Do you seriously think that Target and other retailers won't pass tariff costs to their customers?
For the most part they will. Why do you think higher prices and a lower standard of living are good things?Your focus over tariffs is incomprehensible. Companies will pass on all costs imposed by the government onto the consumer.
She rushed the jobs report in order to give the Biden administration some much needed good news. It backfired spectacularly and a revision was inevitable.A revision is not an error. It is an updating of a past report based upon newly received data. This is routine in economics and finance. No evidence of an error has been presented.
