You might think something like Forms!cboName!Column(2) would work, but it doesn't, at least I could never get it working. I think you can put a hidden text box on your form and assign the value from the combo box like =cboName.Column(2) and then use the hidden text box in the query.
Thanks for that. You've been quite helpful lately. I am aware of the hidden text box option, but thought it would be more elegant to reference the column directly. By the way; I tried every option of .Column(#) I could think of, obviously with no luck.
