Hello all. I have a database with a number of queries and reports that require date range criteria. I put two unbound text boxes on my switchboard: one for a starting date, and one for a stopping date. I set the default dates to be #1/1/95# and Date() using the properties for those controls. All of the queries and reports work perfectly once I set the date criteria to be between the two dates given. The problem is this: When the switchboard is running, I can't change the values in those controls. I checked to make sure that they are not locked, and I saw no other properties that would seem to limit them in this way. I have used unbound text boxes on many forms for setting query criteria, and this is the first time I can't change the value of the text box. Is there some other property I need to know about? Or is there a rule about putting text boxes on the switchboard? Any advice would be wonderful.

Thanks,
Ed

Sorry everyone. I answered my own question. I had to set "allow edits" to yes under to general properties of my switchboard form.
