unique option in combo box

I have table with a list description and prices. However, some of the descriptions are the same but with differernt prices. If I create a combo box just want user to select description, how can I make use of this table in the combo box but only showing each descrpiton as a unique option?? Thanks a lot!!

You can't... If

Item A - Dog - 10.00
Item B - Dog - 20.00

*Dog* being the description which one do you want to store with the Price? If you make Description the selection from the Combo Box then the Price will not accurate. So either you you store the Description and have the User change the Price accordingly (and then you could go by Description but you would have to remove the Price from your selection) or you have to *put up* with duplicates.

Hmm, a thought, what is the Unique ID in the Combo Box?

Oh, then just have the Combo Box by Description (one column) and click the Totals icon. As long as the Description are identical you will only see one of them. If you see two, check for spaces or spelling errors.
