Unrecognized Database Format (1 Viewer)

Please help.

This morning when I was entering info. into my access file, the computer freezes. After reboot, I can't open the the access database any longer. It gives the message: Unrecognized database format.

I tried the Compact and Repair option and receive the same error message.

I tried running JETCOMP but it stated "Can't compact this version of database"

Can anyone help?

You could try importing all the old database objects into a new blank database. This has often worked for me.

Thanks for your reply. My problem is that Access doesn't even recognize the file format. I can't open the file and I can't import it into another file.
