I have an MS Access .adp 2000 project I successfully converted from MS Access 2000 to MS Access 2003. It works just fine, and I am excited it was so easy.
But when I create the .ade file (executible) it continues to give me the error "Unrecognized Format" when I attempt to open it up. It then does not open. It is an error I would expect if I was using MS Access 2000 to open a 2003 database. But in this instance I am opening a 2003 database with Access 2003.
I am not sure why the .adp works, but the .ade does not. If anyone has run into this, or has any ideas I would greatly appreciate them.
