Unused Labels

Can some one please help me? I have been reading the posts and trying to work with the MS Knowledge Base 95806. When I use the code that they have written, I get the msg "Visual Basic module contains a syntax error. Check the code, and then recompile it." Then all the names are taken off every report and the database crashes. I'm to the point of giving up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
