I have a DB that I wrote in Access 2002 version. I was previously using Office 2002 so there was no issue but lately as we moved to Office 2007, each time I created a mde file of this DB while within Office 2007, I got an error 'the expression on click you entered ... right in the begining when the switchboard fired off and I could only halt the application. After some research I noticed that it was occuring only when I made changes and saved while within Office 20007 environment prior to creating a mde. So to get us going I am working off a Office 2002 machine now. I further noticed and that might be the key to the solution that my references partcularly those relating to Outlook and Excel Object library change from 10.0 to 12.0 when mdb is viewed or saved in Office 2007 despite the fact that I am using Access 2002 in this environment. When I open the same DB in Office 2002 I see correct refs. Is this something someone has come across and has there been any resolution to keep refs unchanged?
