Update a column in a subform using a text box

Can anyone help me, I have a form which has numersou combo boxes, when selected, the results are displayed in a subform. I want to be able to change a specific column with a certain value which will be typed in via a text box. Is this possible and how would I go about doing this.

Use the text boxes after update event. To reference the control on the subfomr use the below syntax.

forms![Main Form]![SubForm![ControlName]

I have put in the code in the Afterupdate properties of the textbox:

forms![Pricing_form]![PricingSubform]![Price]

I keep getting a compile error. What do you think I have done wrong.

Is there an example available.
