Update Access Via Email

I am trying to send out emails to project managers to update their latest information via HTML eamil, which in turn updates my database and Sharpoint List.
I only want them to UPDATE. This option then comes back telling me that either it is an invalid email address or there is no data associated with the email address.
When I asked it for NEW information then it recognised the email address.

I have the email address in the same table as the rest of the information required for updating so it is associated.

Anybody know how I can resolve this issue?

Have a look at InfoPath - It does EXACTLY what you are wanting.
You create a form that sources data from the database.
When they update and return the email, the DB gets updated.
NOT: You will need to tell them to SEND the email back.

Thanks very much for the reply. We are exploring infopath but the problem being this needs to go to a number of countries and not everyone has infopath on their machines due to licensing/it regulations in the different sites.
I really cant understand why access would recognise an email address to collect new data, but doesnt recognise when I want to update data.
