Well it certainly works here (Access 97). Just run a test to check.

Are you still using the vb constant 'vbProperCase' or have you altered this part of your query to the number 3 as suggested?

Apologies, cancel that last sentence - I hadn't looked at the updated screenshot that you updated.

It may well be worth altering your field name in the query to identically match the field name in the table. At the moment it is quoted as 'man_naam' when the actual field name in the table is 'Man_Naam'.
