Update table with new row data without effecting relationships/queries

Hi,

I have tried searching without much luck, so will ask

I am building queries on tables that require updating as new info becomes available. These tables are used to link like information.

At the moment, importing the table I can create new, append (which duplicates unless i just add new rows) or link to excel, which will not let me use within the current queries.

Is there a way to import a whole spreadsheet to a current table without duplication or having to delete the original table to replace, which then kills any query using it. - other than just importing the new rows

Apologies for rambling, it's late and not sure if this makes any sense

Please let me know and I'll reword etc if poss, I do not have any examples at the mo, sorry
