Good morning friends

My database, I don't know what happend to it.
I'm trying to open it but it gives me a message:
"The form name 'Welcome Screen' is misspelled or refers to a form that dosen't exist' If the the invalid form name is in a macro, an Action Failed dialog box will display the macro name and the macro's arguments after you click OK. Open the Macro window, and enter the correct form name."
and then after I click ok it open the database but it doesn't show my forms, Reports, Macros or Modules that I have created before.

what does it mean, may I lost all my previous work and data ??? :(:(:(

Please I'm waiting you ... I'm about to lose my mind

Hello , where are you guys
No one could help ???

first copy the database in windows, in case you damage it further
-------
assuming you should have a form called "welcome screen", then try to repair the database.
--------
do you have a good backup you can return to
-------
create a new blank database, and see if you can import everything from the corrupt database

--------
finally is this a mutli user database, and are multiple users all sharing the use of the same copy of the database -this is likely to cause corruption, and is not recommended - if so look at splitting database between front end and back end.

Dear gemma-the-husky
I haven't any backup for this program and there is no multi user.
I had a form called "welcome screen", it was the startup. but now my Forms, Reports, Macros and Modules are not exist ... I'm afraid that I may lost all these files ...
Please help me.

Dear Friends,

Amazing.

Can you see the file name of your db. In other words does the file still exist. If so have you done what gemma-the-husky suggested, that is, create a new blank data base and then import everything?

Actually, I would do two of them. In the first blank data base just import the tables from your "lost data base". The tables are what hold your data and tables are less of a problem to import when there are problems

In a second blank data base try and import everything. If you have a macro called Autoexec then don't import that macro.

Dear Mike375
I've tried to import but it gives Error and close the MS Access.
Note :
my Forms, Reports, Macros and Modules are not exist

Please need help

Sometimes a situation is beyond recovery. Thats why people stress the need to take regular back ups.

if you really can't open your DB at all then I am afraid you may need to start again from scratch. you have my sympathies - it really hurts when things like this happen

Thanks Mr. Rabbie

Then I have to start from scratch ... OK it's a lesson for me to make a backup for my work ... Thank's a lot for your care

I am vey appreciated

How big is the database?

See if you can & upload it here for some of us to look at, maybe something can still be done before you start all over again.

So you can see the data base window????

What about tables. Is data you have lost or was the data base mainly at the "structure only" stage, that is, not much real data except for testing purposes.

Thanks for you,
The program is fully damaged and I'm not able to open
