hello,
this must be phrased in a way that i am overlooking on this help board.. i would think it is common... i have a table that has a large list of customer IDs and related customer names... if a user were to type in a customer id (not choose from a combo box as there are too many customer ids) then the results of the typed in customer id would auto fill out another textbox on the same form, with the customer name.... also the results of "customer name" and "customer ID" fields would be bound to another table where that data is stored (by results i mean what was just looked up by the users input)... is this even a logical way to work things????
