User Level Security not requiring password

Probably a simple one...

I have split my db to a FE and BE on a network drive, and implemented User Level Security successfully. I created a new user through Tools/Security/User and Group Accounts. When I open the db under the new user it will not accept my password-it opens without a password instead.

Any ideas?

This happens when you didn't join the workgroup, or when you have not gone back to the Tools >> User and Group Accounts dialog to reset the password for the new account.

Or when the workgroup is newly created and doesn't have anything in the password field yet.
