I know that to protect the objects of the database, we have to use the user level security. for me, ULS is difficult to follow using its wizard.

I have searched in the internet some develop security but far to ULS.

my question is, is there any simplier approach ready-made application that we can download to replace the ULS wizard but still the capability of ULS. thanks.

thanks for the reply banana. but i was hoping other security wizard other than what is installed in access.

i have found out in accesswizards.com that they have other security wizard however it is for version 2000. I dont know if that is applicable for access 2003. can you comment on that.

genesis,

I really, really do recommend that you clamp down and learn to do it manual. Wizard in this situation is more likely to obfuscate what is going on and make it even more confusing for you. I've seen several people get locked out of their application or were fooled into believing they've had secured it (but it's not), and for that reason I wouldn't bother with security wizard.

I understand you want a easy way to set up the security, but I do believe security is one of place where you really can't skimp on; you have to know how it works in theory before you can use it efficiently.

Best of luck.

ok i will take your advice since your more experienced than I am. anyway, i have another post regarding form formatting. please kindly help me on that one. thanks.
