Using Access 2010. I have never had to give permissions before so I'm completely clueless. All my Chrome searches have produced answers completely over my head, usually involving VB, something I'm very newbie at.
I need to have different users have rights to different objects (basically different user levels). I need each user to log in and and it go to their "page", a form I create with menu buttons for the things they can access. So, I will have one opening form for Admin, another for User Level1, UserLevel2, etc.
The permissions would have to be connected somehow (internally) so that if Jane Doe and John Joe are both User Level1, even though they enter a different user name and password, they will be directed to the same form, User Level 1 form.
Does this make any sense and can it be done?
If not, how do I go about giving different user rights?
