I am very new to Access so please excuse me.

I have created a many-to-many relationship database and built a form with a subform using the wizard. The columnar form is basically a record of people looking for work with the sub form being the jobs they are looking for.

Now, Let's say I want to ask the form for all the people I have in my database that live in a certain postcode. Do I have to create a query that builds a seperate but similar form or can it be done using the form I have just created? The preferred method for searching would be using an enter parameter window.

Can anyone help?

Simply yes. Build the query and double-click on it and the result should appear in a pop-up window in datasheet mode. If this is alright for you, you don't need a form. Forms a primarily there to organize data so it is easy to view, simply put. In your query in the PostalCode column, in the criteria add: [Enter Postal Code], this way you will get a pop-up that will ask you to enter the postal code. hth.
