Using a PalmTop and then uploading data (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

There's some discussion in my office about the possibilities of using a PalmTop type machine to collect data (out in the field so to speak) and then uploading it to a 97 database.

Anyone had experience of anything like this? Is it possible?

Any help / advice muchly appreciated.

I am just about to embark on a similar project, having just purchased a Pocket PC. I do know that you can connect the palmtop using ODBC but that is as far as I've got yet!

I'm sure there is a version of Access for the palm, I think it's limited though.

My Company actually offers that ability out to beable to use a pocket pc and update your db for all to see live. If you email me ill email back my business number and we can have a chat. It is actually very cool when its working.
