using a query with criteria in the detail section

I have a query with criteria. I want to use that query for the record source in my detail section but for some reason it does not work with criteria. If I take the criteria out the report runs fine. Can someone please help.

Try posting a more detailed explanation (including what you're putting in as criteria).

Otherwise, it's real hard to know why it's doing what it's doing (because it should work just fine with criteria).
