Is there any way to use charts/graphs in Access-2007. I want to make some charts/graphs for my database as I used to do in Excel, but I am unable to do so. I have tried with Access help but unable to find the chart option.

Any help please......?

Charts in Access can be on a form or on a Report. So, what are you trying to do?

Thanks SOS

I want to use charts in my reports. Can you show me how this can be done.

Thanks again for your prompt reply.

1. Create a form in pivot chart view and save it.
2. Create a new report.
3. Insert a sub-report control within the new report.
4. Use the pivot chart from step 1 as the sourceobject for the subreport in step 3.

Done! :)

Go to your report in Design view, and go click in the section where you want your chart. Don't put it in the Details section or you'll get one chart for every record, normally it goes in a group header/footer.

Then you go to the DESIGN tab and click on the Insert Chart button

attachment.php

and then follow the wizard.

No need to do that. Just insert a chart in the report. You don't need to create it in a form or use a sub report. See my previous post.

Dear SOS & FraserC

Tahanks to both of you for your kind suggestion. I will use both the methods & post my experience soon.
Thanx again for the support.
