Please join us for our Monthly Chapter Presentation on May 4th, at 6:30PM Pacific (UTC -8)
(Please verify your Time Zone offset.)

What do you do when you can’t find third-party software tools to accomplish tasks you need to get done quickly and without hassle? Eric Blomquist decided to just create his own tools using VBA classes.

Eric’s business, advising large institutional investors concerning high finance and private equity in particular, requires being able to track and manage large amounts of interrelated data quickly and efficiently. The result of his effort to create Access-based tools to support his business includes a standard object framework using VBA classes and a rigorous naming convention.

We’ll get the benefit of seeing one of those tools in action in this presentation. Specifically, Eric will demonstrate how this framework enables the methods he depends on every day, including form and combo box list filtering and navigation. He’ll also share some of his findings about undocumented object behavior that enables some of this operation.

Please join us to see how the secret sauce is created.

Yes, only the intrepid Europeans have ever attended, but it has happened.

Actually, I'm not sure that's the right offset. I make it 7 and a half hours from now.

Thanks. I need to verify the stupid Day Light Savings hasn't messed me up again.

I believe its 02:30 UK time (UTC+1) as Pacific Time is currently UTC-7
Whilst I'd love to be there, I need my beauty sleep 😉.
Will catch up on YT next week.
