vb crib sheet or how to put borders around merge cell (In excel)

long time no speak
Which is good in some ways as this means your help has worked ?

anyway I have a xls that generated from access 2003
all fine and dandy

but how to a put a border around a cell or series of cells


outline

sheet A in the xls holds the data in the format that is required by the end client (resolved)
sheet b(my problem) is summary of sheet A (I can get the figures) -its the layout that a bugger

i will have a series of cells that require to be outlined and resized and text alinement (I cna solve this) its the wrapping a border around a cell


so Cell 1,1 or A1 i want outlined Top/bottom both sides

anyone know what th evb code is for this

I believe you refer to the first cell in the merged cells. You can verify by recording a macro and looking at the code it produces. I use that method whenever I don't know what the code is in Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
