VB Password code for database

Hello,

i am designing a database for college and part of the criteria is to imply vb coding to the database. i am trying to setup a password using vb for the database but i dont know how. i created a porgram in vb which has a password but it does not work when using it in Access.

to set a database password to your database, simply go to Tools -> Security -> Set Database Password.

i tired that but that is not satisfactory for a distinction. i need one using VB coding that gives you 3 attempts

There has been a lot of discussions on how to secure a db with out using the built-in security systems.
