Very slow link to Outlook Address Book

Good Morning All,

I am investigation some methods in creating a contacts system for our ever growing and very messy contacts list in outlook.

As I'm experienced in access, I felt this would be my best method. Using forms and linking the contacts with many other tables and systems already in Access.

I've managed to link our contacts list in a new test database, but it seems to be incredibly slow retrieving data. This seems to be even slower when connecting directly through exchange.

I am using Access 2003 and Outlook 2003 on a Microsoft exchange server.

I have searched the forums but couldn't find anything about the speed of the link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have a suggestion about microsoft in general. DO NOT USE exchange servers. they stink. IMO. Just my 2 cents.
