Hi all,

Thanks much for the replies to my last post.

What I have today is a database with a back end containing the linked tables on a server with a front end on various individual workstations. The good thing is that for individuals on the local area network everything works great. The bad thing is that those poor saps on the wide area network can access only forms from the front end that do not have subforms pulling info from the backend. If they try to open a form with a subform their workstation (Access) becomes nonresponsive. Should they try to open the same form with the subform removed - everything works as it should. I know Access can be hog when it comes to pulling data. Is there any suggestions I can look into? Is this even a WAN problem or a problem with the individual workstation (Pentium II w/64megs) (Yeah they're a little cheap over in Maintenance)

Thanks for any suggestions,

John
