There is a forum I look at at work that has a bunch of pictures on it. Is there any way I can change a setting so that the pics will not load from this forum/site? This isn't a bad site but the advertisements can have some bad pictures that I don't want anyone seeing if they walk past my desk.

To turn off graphics to display all Web pages faster

On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Multimedia, clear one or more of the Show pictures, Play animations, Play videos, or Play sounds check boxes.
Notes

If the Show pictures or Play videos check box is cleared, you can still display an individual picture or animation on a Web page by right-clicking its icon, and then clicking Show Picture.
If the pictures on the current page are still visible after you clear the Show pictures check box, you can hide them by clicking the View menu, and then clicking Refresh

They used to offer multiple display options, but for some reason a couple weeks ago they limited it to two options, both of which aren't the ones I wanted.

like i said it is the advertisements which don't have any affiliation to the site content.

I guess affiliated is too strong of a word. How about "related". Here is an example of what I'm talking about since you seem pretty slow. Say I go to a Baseball forum and on the top they have a Viagra advertisement that is apart of the forum but not the concept of the forum.
