weirdest cross-tab error

Hi all,

just noticed the weirdest thing with a cross-tab ive created:

background- corss tab is an appoinment matrix

time slot as the row
teacher as the column
parent as the value

essentially tells you which parent the teacher is seeing in any time slot...

problem im getting is duplicate timeslots with different values in-

for example

im getting:


Time mr warin mr sharkey
18:15 mrs smith
18:15 mr short

if that makes sense its essentially showing that for the time slot of 18:15 its showing two values per teacher where is should really show:

Time mr warin mr sharkey
18:15 mrs smith mr short

as there is only one row each for both teachers at that time slot- not two as my results are showing..

bizarre thing is it doesn't do this on every row- in fact over half are fine but i simply cant work out what could possibly cause this?

any ideas?
