What a Dilemma I am in. If Obama is for something, I am against it. If Pelosi is against something I am for it. Not only that but I can’t figure out who is not giving who a back rub.

I may be showing some ignorance here but aren't they both democrats and you a died in the wool republican, and thus the above is to be expected.

My apologizes to both you and Rabbie. It was ignorant of me to think non US people would get my inane innuendos. Let me explaine.
1. I am restrained by approiate context from using any other parts of their anatomy, so spelled out each of the above mention have a reputation of buttering up the other, so there must have been a brake down, when he was for fast track, and she was instrumental in getting it defeated. So no it was not to be expected tht they would fight each other. It was a surprise to me and many others here in the US.. AND TWO, sorry about raising my voice, I am not a Republican. I am a Conservative. I would vote for a democrat if they were more conservative that the republican canadate.

Plese pardon our American perspective of elections. It is different here.
First of all, the word "democracy" means 2 government funded, promoted organizations. In the real-world a small group actually belong or take an active part in the election process.
In the last 2014 election, only 36.4% of American citizens able to vote. About 45% of those voters have no affiliation with the controlling two parties. You would have to go back to 1942 to match this apathy.

There are many Americans who watch WWF (TV Wrestling) who think it is real. They don't see it as a scripted play where both members get a huge check and share a Limo to deposit the check in the same bank. There are no real issues debated in the US, just trivia. WWF makes billions off of the fake scripts. It was based on US politics.

My grandfather and his anscestors always had at least four parties to choose from at the ballot box. Even then, they elected Independents back then. We saw the Wigs, Torry and other parties become extinct thanks to freedom of choice at the ballot box.

Charts for Voter Turnout PBS:
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/updates/2014-midterm-election-turnout-lowest-in-70-years/ I used Public Broadcast Station news - but the story is easy to find in many web sites.

Most potential voters face a moral choice to vote for the lesser of two evils or not vote at all. That is the real Dilemma.

Very well put. That was my point above in maybe too subtle a way.
However, do you think it is much different in the UK? Just asking I don't know. Hey, how about you Brits, what do you think?
