What advice would you give your teenage self

I would tell my teenage self to put a massive bet on the Berlin wall being ripped down in the year 1989.. :D oh and also not to touch the Punk Girl with the Purple hair..

Finally, in retrospect you should realize, I spent half my money on alcohol and wild women, the other half I totally wasted.

:D

I was too busy being a wild woman to have money to waste ;)

Another would be "don't worry, in 80 years you won't give a damn"
Oh, wait. I think I might have actually gone back and had a word with myself at some point... :)

Buy Microsoft initial public offering at $21.00 per share.
If you had the good fortune to have bought 100 shares at the $21 offering price that day and sat on the investment for 25 years, it would have mushroomed into 28,800 shares over the course of nine stock splits and be worth about three quarters of a million dollars today.

My dad had a shot at buying stock for the IPO of RCA back in the great depression. But he had no dollars to spend on that, which was depressing. Then back in the 70's he saw the stock history and prices of RCA and got greatly depressed all over again.

2011: "Spend $30 each on Bitcoins? Talk about a waste of money."
2017: "$17,000 A BITCOIN?!?" *cries*
