My bad, I didn't see the second page reference so I thought my reply did not "take".
And here it is.OK, well the post has been cross-posted. If you want to stop blocking me I'd be happy to let you know where it is.
My ActiveX settings are: Prompt, and the Safe Mode is checked. Should either of those be changed? From your screenshot comment:
The DAO 3.6 library has been superceded by Microsoft Office xx.0 Access database engine Object Libary which has additional functionality
You cannot have both - use the newer library
Regarding your ActiveX error 429, check your settings in Access Options | Trust Center | ActiveX Settings

something about your post which it doesn't like....
Probably:What in here is deserving of being blocked?
"LDAP://dc=yourdomain, dc=com"
Does that filter not like pasted text? Am I required to hand-type everything here?
That's also what I use. Should be OK though you could temporarily relax the settings for testing. My ActiveX settings are: Prompt, and the Safe Mode is checked. Should either of those be changed?
You are posting multiple posts in this thread???I even posted a graphic of what I attempted to post, yet all of you keep harping on links! What link are you talking about? I was looking forward working with everyone on this site. But if I can't even post new threads (AGAIN, WITHOUT LINKS) without being blocked with no one here willing/able to tell me the precise reason for the block, I guess my tenure here is involuntarily and preemptively terminated...
I was thinking the same thing when I saw thatProbably:
looks like a URL to the crude regex parserCode:"LDAP://dc=yourdomain, dc=com"
@Doc, are you sure?So Dave, nice try but by experiment it doesn't seem to matter.
