where is the Database backup

Where Does, if even does Access store itself in a .bak form ?

A coworker resently deleted a complete collumn and since then the computer has been rebooted. It would be very nice if I could retract the deleted information.

Even with generation a .BAK file is a conscious action. If you didn't back up
the database prior to deleting a column, then, as far as I know. You're out
of luck.
