Which Database format offered in Access XP is the best, Access2000 or Access2002?

Does anybody have any experience with the both Access-Databaseformats?
Which would you prefer and why? What are the pros and cons?
The most important question for us is: Which is more safe and unbuggy?
And why does Access XP use the Access 2000 Databaseformat by default?

The only point that I could offer.....seeing as I use Access 2002 on my labtop and in the office, but 2000 on my contract site would be compatibility. Although it might be a great idea to use the latest and greatest remember that when creating in one version.....you're coding and various functions, classes, and formats are not available for all of your users if they aren't up to speed with you. I would suggest finding out what the client is using.

In the past 5 months of using 2002 and 2000 I haven't noticed a great deal of difference between the two....almost nothing actually, but in making the initial transition of my work from 2002 to 2000 I had lost some of the functionality.

If there aren't enough benefits....then don't over shoot the clients requirements and capabilities.
