which record is selected (1 Viewer)

Hi, guys. It's me again

I have a form with subform and combobox. Record source of combobox is Sql: (SELECT ID, Name FROM [Contacts]. Subform based on Querry, Default view is Datasheet, recordset type is Snapshot.

When I choose Name from combobox (I use AfterUpdate event) and according to the chosen name appears task list in the subform.

How do I know which record was selected if I select one record of the list?

I assume your are asking about the "List" in the sub form control.

In a sub form, the currently select record is in the form's controls. I usually reference the control (normally hidden) with the primary key for the record.

IF you wan to get the value from the parent form then use;

ME.subformcontrolName1.ControlName
