I consider "Thriller" to be his best work, not only for his own performance, but because he got really high-class help behind the camera. Like directory John Landis, noted for creature films. Rick Baker for creature costumes and effects. Quincy Jones for orchestrations. (NOBODY does horn sections like QJ!) And Vincent Price for the creepy recitation in that oily smooth evil voice. He probably got others who were top-notch as well in their respective contributions, but those four choices were absolutely stellar... brilliant.
