why does my data keep moving around?

When I enter a new record onto my form it all seems fine, until I close the database. When I go back to it the data seems to have moved around between the last few records I added - once I re-enter the data for each record, close down and re-open the database the information will be in the correct forms.

Does this make any sense, and does anyone know how I sort it out before I go mad!

Have you accidently selected to sort the data?

Thank you for replying, I think it's the field indexing one as that did cross my mind (I'm pretty sure I've not selected to sort anything, as I've not got to that stage yet!)

I'll have a look into it today, but will probably be back for further assistance later!
