why does this work in layout view but not print view?

hi everyone

ive just gone through the report wizard (something i usually avoid doing) to get a report in the layout i wanted it (block layout), the report i generated looks fine in layout or report view, but when i switch to print preview the "Type" field is invisible in most cases (check out the pngs to see what im talking about), is there any way to get it to stay the same when it prints?

Quite odd. What happens when you actually print off that page?

Also see what happens when Can Shrink is set to No (just for testing purposes).

Did you try printing it out? Sometimes the print preview doesn't show everything correctly.

hey guys,

thanks for the suggestions guys,

ive just checked, the fields can shrink is already set to no,

just dusted off my printer and plugged it in to test out how the page prints, unfortunately it prints exactly the same as the print preview

This is a total guess, but it acts like the Hide Duplicates property of the textbox is set to Yes. Perhaps that's something that doesn't happen in Layout view. Check that property and make sure it's No.
