Why set to black and White all the time?

Hi,

I have a report, and every time I open it for preview it is set to print out black and White instead of color, no matter how many times I change it to color. It won't save the color setting. Why is this so?

Is there a setting and/or code that I can use so that the user doesn't have to manually set it to color mode each time?

Thanks a lot,

Peter.

P.S. I am running Access XP.

Autocorrect for what? How do I turn it off?

thanks for your reply

Fortunately for me I have an earlier less bug ridden version of the product so I can only guess that this "feature" is within the options menu:cool:

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Hi,

I never sorted this problem out. Does anybody know how to fix it?

My windows printer properties suggests my printer is set for color mode, but in the program it defaults to black and white printing so I have to manually set it to color every time I want to print a report!

Thanks in advance.

it seems to only happen on a couple of the reports, the rest are fine. I have checked the report's properties and they are exactly the same as another report that is working fine.

I am stupid. I didn't realise it would save printer settings along with the report. Silly me.

Thanks very much Pat.
