win 7 / touch pad

Win 7 / All of a sudden my touch pad will not move the cursor. While it is booting is works, but once it is completely booted it stops working. The cursor will work ok with a mouse. Anybody have any ideas?

Stupid does as stupid does. After goggling everything I could think of, I took the computer to the pro shop, only to find out that my computer has an F key that disables the touch pad. Does anybody know if all computer have such an F key?

Not all do, it's mainly laptops that have an F or Fn (function) key so that keys can have dual or tri functions to save space or provide typical laptop functions like changing the display setting (VGA output etc.) that's why you'll see a second or third icon on several keys. (think of it as a second shift key).

After goggling everything I could think of,

I only goggle everything wearing a short skirt or tight top.
