I have a client who now works from home
She connects remotely to the office small business server 2003 to her office machine that is windows xp
Until early dec/09 the 'home' pc used os was windows xp
This was changed to a new pc with os windows 7 professional,
she also has laptop with windows vista home premium with same problem.
The version of office in use is Office2000 with Access2000
We have a database that has been in use since 1998 and it has several reports to produce on a regualar basis
Some of these reports include memo field(s) that are set to 'grow' and 'shrink'
The reports are usually sent to word using vba 'output to' code
My client reports that since starting to use the windows 7 machine the comments fields are not growing fully
when 'printed' in Word. Also other problems with design, like misallignment of textboxes.
These problems do not occur when the office pc (windows xp) is used directly
Does anyone else have any experience of this problem with 'remote' and how to fix it ?
My thinking is that it may lie with some new feature of windows 7/vista that is interfering with the processing
because before, when using a window xp machine at her home the reports were OK
Please help, its driving everyone mad.
