After creating a db on my laptop (Win ME & A2000) I thought I would try it out on our other PC at home to check form sizes etc. as the screen resolution is 800x600.
The PC runs Win XP & A2000.
After playing around awhile - and everthing working fine, I opened a calender and the thing spat the dummy and came up with an automation error. Checked the references etc and every on both computers seemed the same.
Just wondering if any one else had come across the problem.

Dave.

You mean you inserted the Calendar ActiveX in your db and when you open the form inserted with the control you can't click on it?

You may have the dif versions of the Calendar installed in both machines. I used to have the same problem. I had to register the Calendar 10 in both machines.

Tim,
The calendar is on a small seperate form used to select a date and insert on my form. I noticed that when I open the form in design mode and right click on the calender and select properties the thing spits the dummy and brings up countless msgboxes with the attached msg.
Both machines have access installed from the same CD so I presume the calendar is the same.

I would try, in the new machine, to delete the Calendar and insert in back again. Make sure you name the Calendar the same name of the previous one, then compile it and try if the problem is disappeared or not.
