Referring to the thread submitted by robjones23, 1/4/05, I am have a similar problem with a report.

I have a report that I pull data in that is entered on a daily basis and I convert total by week number. The report then pulls in the last six weeks for an average. The report worked fine using Format([Date Entry],"WW",2,2) until 2005. When I ask for the week number range, i.e. example 49-2, it is pulling weeks 2 (05) through 49 (04)in that order. The report is not sorting by year. I tried "ww/yy, but all weeks were still pulled in the report.

I want the report to pull in only the weeks I request and I want it sort correctly by year, i.e. 49-04, 50-04,.........01-05.

I certainly welcome any assistance.

Thank you,

Try sorting on YY/WW instead of WW/YY

Regards

P.S. I just found you question as well in the other thread! Do not  double post. Also its smart to keep things together, maybe you should not have started this new thread.... :(

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I don't post very often so I am unsure of the rules. Mostly just read and research.

I worked late on the problem yesterday and resolved the problem. I had to be able to use the report today, so I was under a tight timeframe, so I got a little panicky and got crazy with my posting.

Again thanks. This forum is a great help to me.

Have something strange happening in my report. Our employees had to work on New Years Day, 01/01/05, so all the that day's information is listed as Week # 05/53. I need it to be calculated with the whole week.

I don't know how to fix it. Has anyone had this problem and could offer a solution?

Thanks!

Check the other thread, i fixed it there.... :( "Keep it together" do you now see why?

Thanks. I have been properly chastened. How do I go about changing my login name, so I can start over?
