Yes and No check boxes

Hi all

I'm wondering how I can assign two check boxes to one field, i.e. a yes or no check box set. Is this possible?
I'll give you an example, are you a smoker? Tick box 'yes' or box 'no'.
I'm aware that a single check box can have a yes or no value, -1 or 0, but on a form where you have to be of one state or the other..you see what I mean.

I am assuming you either want Yes or No to the smoker question .
Have you thought of createing a small table with Yes and No plus maybe Not Asked .
Then on the form you add a combo box and link to this new table .The control source is smoker on the table of your form .This table would be available for any other yes and no questions you might wish to ask , just change the control source . If you have multil users this table would be a local table Not linked to the back end.
