Hello,
Recently I came across a database where - on open, only the main swtchboard form appeared on screen. This was minimized to the center of the screen, and the usual access 'grey' background was minimized onto the taskbar. A user could maximise access to get to the edit tabs, but tabs from the ribbon were missing, and nothing was clickable except for the main swtichboard. In order to edit anything the from had a 'maintanence' button (along with all other usual comand buttons related to forms, queries and a close button ect....).
When the maintanence button was clicked, only then was the 'usual' access view with options, navigation view and tabs to make edits ect.... clickable
My question is... how would I go about creating something like this? I know about on load event to hide certain veiw panes, but the user can still easily get to the edit controls without having to click a maintanence button. I would like to link this to a login form/table
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
P
