Thanks
Alvis Lazarus

Guyz ... please share some good reference books ...
All experts in this forum ... how you guyz mastered this tool ? One is by usage I agree ... but when u r learning ... what are all ur references ?

I have a copy of Access VBA Programming , Charles E. Brown & Ron Petrusha, that sits on the corner of my desk. You can also gain a lot but looking at samples, like my multi search sample, which by the way was not my original work but something I pulled apart and made "Improvements" to.

If you set your self little challenges, that step just outside what you currently know, and use Google and the resources within this forum, you will find that bit by bit your knowledge and skills will increase.

If your skills are very basic then buy one of those books for Dummies or Idiots.
Also search the net for Tutorials. You can only learn by doing.
Do some volunteer work for your Church, School, Scout Group of similar. Gather the information you need. Start writing then ask for help/critique.

Use Access 97 if you can. The older the version the better.

Woos! Real MEN use stone tablets and abacus:D

I'm finding these two to be packed with good learning:
Access 2010 Programmer's Reference by Teresa Henniq, Rob Cooper, Geoffrey L. Griffith, & Jerry Dennison (I agree with the reviews that the index is terrible, but make notes as you read with page numbers and you can go back and find what you want when it becomes important).

And Microsoft Access 2010 In Depth by Roger Jennings (you can download a pdf version which is nice to have on hand.

As the others have said, this forum has been a great help to me. As well as looking at every sample you can find, pouring over them to see how & why things were done.

Last night I draged out my Dummies book. I was very impressed with its contents,

If you knew every thing in that one book you would know more than 50% of the members here.

Now that is a big statement, or is it.
