Another request from Mama???
She wants me to have two memo fields on a form so that with an extra long recipe it will roll any text that doesn't fit on the first memo over the second field, without having to scroll. . Now I know what you are thinking, why not make a very wide and very long memo field. The problem she had over 40,000 recipes and lots were just copied and paste from the net and has all the ingredient listed in a stack. It would take her forever to go in to them all and do a edit and have everything on consecutive lines. I told her it can't be done but that I would run it past you guys first. What say you?

seems it has user level security applied

I've converted to an accdb and attached - see how you get on.

going offline now so if it doesn't work, post a note, perhaps someone else can have a go or I'll look again tomorrow

I had Japanese food in a restaurant in NY last week, not much different.

If you saying not much different from Japanese food in UK from J food in NY I will have to take your word it, as I have never had J food in UK and very little in US. Now the difference between J food in the US and Chinese Buffet in the US is like night and day. Now it has been many moons since I have been in the UK but my favorite food there was Fish & Chips, probable because that is what I was brought up on in Rhode Island. Within 25 miles of our house there were at least 30 Fish & Chip joints. One that is still there to this day is called Ye' Old English. It was there when my parents were kids. Same building. In fact same floor. It has solid black and white. marble, and very little sign of wear.

I would imagine that most of these restaurants source their ingredients (i.e. imported goods) from the same place, so the taste in food may differ based on the chef preparing it. Whereas if you were in China or Japan, it's sourced locally and everything is fresh.

How true, but that can be a hazard. One time while doing Navy duty in Dominican Republic ever one in the unit around 200 men got bathroom problems from fresh vegetables that the galley bought from a local source.

It was probably too fresh :p

We were told that it was probable because they fertilize with human excrement and that our systems were no use to it, and natives grew up with it from birth. Now how true that is I don't know.

Who cooked the vegetables, one of the servicemen or a local? And was it only vegetables? It could also be down to cross-contamination.
