Align Text Box Verticaly Center (1 Viewer)

Hello Guys,

How could I align the Text Box Aligned Vertically Centered in the Text Box of a Report?

This is what I am getting now:

not sure what you are demonstrating shows the issue you are having - the only difference I can see is that the bottom example has a narrower control than the top example - so why don't you just adjust the width of the control?

Hi. Unfortunately, I don't think Access Textboxes have that feature like you would see in Word or Excel. Sorry...

I think, maybe, the closest thing you could do is use a matching font size to the size of your textbox to approximate being aligned vertically. I hope somebody else has a better idea though. Good luck!

I just adjusted the Top Margin Property of the Text Box.

ah - obvious now:). If a manual setting of top margin meets your needs then that is OK. If you need a more automated approach it can be done with vba. Would involve determining the control height in twips (easy), less the font height in twips (not so easy) and dividing by 2 - the result would be the top margin in twips, which is what access actually uses (0.25cm=142 twips)
