Excellent video on Excel this, and I found out I'm doing lots of things wrong!
Would the topics be using Access interactively, or would it be best practice, like table level validation, table lookups, multi-valued fields, etc?pretty low level although centre across selection was a new one for me - but could do with one of those for Access - if you are up to the challenge. Must be plenty of subjects on 'doing things wrong in Access'
Yes, but I think most access users will stick to it and would add excel skills in their spare time.think it is a lot easier to transition from access to excel rather than the other way round
They might be volunteers.SSAFA used to supply and End of Year Workbook, with half the columns hidden, on the left of the sheet?, instead of putting them over on the far right out of sight and calculation?
And these people were being paid?

No they were paid employees, we were the volunteers having to put up with thier crap. They might be volunteers.

So the volunteers knew more than those been paid.No they were paid employees, we were the volunteers having to put up with thier crap.
Perhaps, in some instances. So the volunteers knew more than those been paid.
I hadn't realised the advantages of turning data into tables....
certainly would think they need to be covered. But need to differentiate between those (I suspect the vast majority) who just knock something up using the tools as provided and are content with the results, and those who want or need to build something that is more robust, complex and/or efficient.Would the topics be using Access interactively, or would it be best practice, like table level validation, table lookups, multi-valued fields, etc?
